The HARMONY-EHA webinar (June 4, 2020) provided a unique opportunity for HARMONY leaders to collaborate and discuss the role of the HARMONY COVID-19 Data Platform in increasing our knowledge of COVID-19 and its impact on patients with Hematologic Malignancies. The webinar is now available for viewing on demand.

Overview of topics discussed

HARMONY in COVID-19 pandemic: the power of Big Data to address emerging needs
Jesus Maria Hernandez Rivas, Professor of Hematology, University of Salamanca, IBSAL, Hospital Universitario de Salamanca, Spain – HARMONY Coordinator
Professor Hernandez Rivas discussed the collaboration between HARMONY and the European Health Data & Evidence Network (EHDEN), which aims to incorporate data on patients with COVID-19 into the HARMONY COVID-19 Data Platform. He also mentioned how organizations can work together to share data with HARMONY to enhance our understanding of COVID-19 and Hematological Malignancies.
