The biennial international workshop on CLL will be organized as a virtual event on 17-20 September, 2021. This conference is committed to advancing the field of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) and related lymphoproliferative disorders through thought-provoking discussions, debates, and virtual networking.

#BigDataforbloodcancer | Big Data accelerate better and faster treatment for Patients with Hematologic Malignancies

The HARMONY Alliance is a European Public–Private Partnership for Big Data in Hematology that is capturing and mining Big Data on various Hematologic Malignancies, including CLL. The HARMONY Alliance, funded by Innovative Medicines Initiative, unites more than 100 organizations such as European medical associations, hospitals, research institutes, patient organizations, pharmaceutical and IT companies. HARMONY uses Big Data analytics to accelerate the development of more effective treatments for blood cancer patients. The aim is to accelerate the development of more effective treatments. Data are stored in HARMONY’s Big Data Platform, which has already identified over 60,000 anonymized patient records, making it one of the largest databases of its kind. Leading research teams are currently using this wealth of information to answer critical questions about hematologic malignancies that cannot be addressed with other methods. Read more >


About iwCLL

The International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (iwCLL) is a biennial meeting focused solely on advancing the understanding and treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and related lymphoproliferative disorders. Founded in 1979, iwCLL is now the largest international meeting dedicated to advancing state-of-the-art and emerging concepts – from laboratory-based research to the clinic – in the pathobiology and treatment of these blood cancers. The biennial meeting is intended to provide a forum that promotes the exchange of information and encourages collaboration among international leaders and scientists interested in CLL and lymphoproliferative disorders in one location for four days every other year.
